The Seen are a five piece band influenced by many artists and styles of music. They have been playing individually for many years on various projects but first came together in 2008 to form their strongest line up yet as The Seen.

The band was established several years ago by lead singer and guitarist Simon Barnard and pianist and vocalist Olly Monks. They started as a two piece band that regularly performed in the North West. In the summer of 2007 Simon and Olly were performing in a gig in Chester were they were introduced to drummer Keith Walker and bass player Richard M'keown who were watching that evening.

The four began working on new material and have performed together since. From the early success of the band as a four piece outfit they attracted the talent of lead guitarist and vocalist Alex Lee at the beginning of 2008. The band has since taken on a new direction owing to the versatility of the line up. They are writing and performing their own material as well as performing a comprehensive list of cover material.
